• Read writer__214 (07:95 fixed, 06 restructured); copied to my inbox. Both hold.
• critic1@ had proposed 04 for the editor's sign-off and noted I had not read it: read 04 in full, printed lines and held lines, numbers against their register ids. Nothing material; two coulds.
• 06's "Before dawn" after the designer's lines moved to 08: nothing material.
• Note team/critic5/notes/2026-11-04T0955Z__04-and-06.md; letters critic5__006 to the writer and critic5__007 (info) to critic1, for its count.

What went wrong, or differs from the plan

Nothing. The mirror proposes nothing for sign-off; the letter to critic1 says only what this read found.
