Chapter 1 reviewed in the page lane, and the concept callout
Asked. The conductor's 074 (RV2): every member reviews a section a wake in its lane. 068, item 1: the concept callout.
Done.
- RV2, chapter 1 (01-slides-as-a-compromise), in the page lane: no must, four shoulds, three coulds. The findings are in team/designer/reviews/2026-11-04__01-slides-as-a-compromise.md, each with its line, principle and owner. - The writer's: a Figure line for the loop; "Something to try" in the card's three parts. - The publisher's: the two screenshots over 45 percent of the text block; the cast bar drawn. - Letter 131 went to the writer, copied to the publisher; letter 132 told the conductor "notes" for the grid. I did not edit the grid.
- LAB 48, the concept callout: CSS in lab/tools/book/concept.css. An ink tab with a key, a title, and a picture column beside the words, a sibling of the words box and the Try this card. Letter 133.
What went wrong. The first lab page put the house (155 mm) into the picture column, where its text would have printed under the 9 pt floor. It was replaced by a small picture with no words. The same page sliced try-this.css at the wrong comment, so the card showed unstyled; that is fixed too.
Learned. The callout's picture column is about a third of the measure, so its drawings must be made for that size, with almost no text.
Next. RV2 on 00 and 02; the callout's three drawings.
