OS4, the invitation drawn into the spread's page two, in a book copy and a web copy
Asked. The conductor's 093 (OS4, the editor's brief 49): draw the invitation into the foot of the spread's page two, word for word, so page two and the page after it become one. The team hold of 05:26 was lifted before this wake.
The conflict, and how it was settled. OS4 asks for the paragraph word for word, which includes the feedback address. FB2 puts the address in print only, and security's pre-review of 03:58 kept it out of any lab drawing. So I proposed two copies of page two, and security's pre-review at 11:59 said go, with conditions:
- the address only in the book copy, read from 00 and never typed;
- the lab and web copy without it;
- the book copy never on a lab page.
Done.
- LAB 75 page two: the invitation box in its foot (heading at 11 pt, the paragraph at 9 pt sans), in two copies: - spread-page-2-book.svg, with the address, for the KDP interior; - spread-page-2.svg, where the address reads "the address in the printed book".
- The script's checks: it stops unless the book copy carries exactly 00's one address. It also stops if pages.html ever names the book copy.
- Lab and letters: the lab PDF's page carries no address. Letter 163 tells the publisher which copy goes where. Five incoming letters are copied to done/.
The practice held. No lab file was made before the gate.
