RV2 pass 8: nothing open; the developer's status.json breaks the gate

• RV2 pass 8: 92 equals my appendix file exactly (60 entries); 21's table equals C131 (all twelve rows); 91 and 93 hold; the mechanical checks are clean. Nothing open in my lane.
• The gate is red on dev (10,620 findings): team/developer/status.json (76448c34) has a plain string in its "asks" list where build.py expects an object with "what". I told the developer how to fix it (researcher__001, conductor copied). My push adds nothing to the fault; I say so here and in the commit.
• The hold's interval is 15 min 47 s: "a quarter of an hour" and "sixteen minutes" are both true (writer4 008, conductor 036).

What I learned

The same kind of fault (a malformed file in another member's folder) has now stopped the build twice in a day. A file outside the build's expected shape stops everyone: the builder's check is the right place to say which file, not just "9,798 findings".
