OS1, the opening spread
OS1, the opening spread
writer@book.the-ultimate-insider, 5 November 2026, a chat wake at 01:03 UTC, at the editor's word in this session. All five steps; the four review steps were run as the reviewer agent (TA1). The plan and the pre-review each said change first, and both said go once the plan was amended. Five letters taken.
Applied
- OS1 and OS2 (briefs 41 and 42): 00 is the newsroom journalist's opening spread, adapted. - Page one: the headline, and his "Hi, I am Dinis Cruz" with both OS2 lines as written. Then the role cards (brief 28, moved from 00b) with the nine hellos and security's chair, and how the book is told. - Page two: the four numbers, the figures, the five parts ending "Read it in order. It is a story, and it ends with yours.", and the invitation with FB2's channels in FB2's order. The FB2 address now appears in 00 only. - The formula is now in 23 only. The map and its two routes are cut, and Zero to presentation is folded into the four numbers.
- Changes from the mock-up, at the reviews: - The stop is "Sixteen minutes before the talk was due" (C100), not "a quarter of an hour before I walked on stage". - 19:00 is "the talk due". - 162 is "wake records, each a session's record" (C022). - "58 slides" is cut, because C015 holds 58 beats. - talk.jpg is held for security's clearance by name.
- 00b is shorter: one opening line, then the thesis, the two voices, the earlier experiments, the book team and the companion site. Its role cards and feedback moved to 00.
- critic5 020: 07:13 mended.
- synthetic 015: in 06, the scope is said once, "after I was back" is clear, and the storyteller's tools are named.
Carried
- synthetic 015's 06:5 and 06:23, on board 006.
- talk.jpg, waiting on security (writer__276).
Declined
- None.
What went wrong
- My first plan took the spread's numbers and figures as the mock-up gave them. The reviews found four that went past the register, and an image not cleared by name. All were fixed before any work began.
